Miami University wins a low scoring affair versus Eastern Michigan

In a contest where both teams shot under 40% the Miami University Redhawks (15-14, 9-7 MAC) were able to put together multiple runs to cruise to a 52-37 win over the host Eastern Michigan Eagles (12-17, 5=11 MAC). The RedHawks started the game on a 15-4 run initiated by Anderson Mirambeaux’s five initial points. The eagles were able to close the gap to 22-17 at the half. Eastern’s lone player in double figures Jalin Billingsly led the Eagles with 13 points and a game high 10 boards. Miami began the second half with a 13-2 run, then were able to push the lead to 18 at 44-26 before finishing the game with the margin of victory at 15 points. Mirambeaux led the RedHawks with 11 points while Darweshi chipped in with 10 and 7 rebounds.
