#18 Ohio northern women blitz Mt. Union

After an Opening three pointer by Mt. Union’s Dae Dae Nash, Ohio Northern returned the favor and never looked back torching the Purple Raiders 90-47. The Polar Bears had a solid outing from center Brooke Allen (12 points) but they did the bulk of the damage with an ariel barrage hitting 17-28 from 3-point range. Jada Benjamin came off the bench for ONU to lead all scorers with 16 points including 4-4 from 3-point range and Abi Akamine added 13 points. Dae Dae Dash led Mt. Union with 9 points. ONU improves to (17-2, 11-1 OAC) and Mt. Union falls to (6-13, 3-9m OAC).
