Malone stuns findlay at the buzzer

Findlay senior Nathan Bruns led all scorers with 28 points, but it wasn’t enough as the Oilers fell 74-72 on a late shot by Malone’s Aaron Badibo. The visiting Pioneers out rebounded the Oilers 36 to 23 which proved to be a major factor. Sixteen of those rebounds were offensive and led to 18 second chance points for Malone. Simon Blair’s 22 points and Badibo’s double double (18 points & 11 boards) helped Malone stay within striking distance as Findlay took a 70-61 lead late, The Pioneers were able to hold the Oilers to two points over the final 5 minutes to set the stage for Badibo’s heroic final shot. This defeat moves Findlay to 7-7 in conference (G-MAC) and 10-12 overall while Malone betters their record to 5-7 in conference and 12-12 overall.
