Toledo edges eastern michigan on the road

Tyson Acuff’s 24 points and 8 rebounds weren’t enough for Eastern Michigan (9-14,2-9 MAC) to hold off Toledo’s late rally, the Eagles fell 91-87 at home. Eastern jumped out to a quick 8-1 lead before Toledo (15-8,9-2 MAC) went on a 11-0 run then took a 5-point lead into the half 42-37. Toledo led by the duo of Ra’Heim Moss and Tyler Cochran each with 20 points and 6 rebounds were able to mount a late comeback after Eastern Michigan took a 7-point lead with 3 & 1/2-minutes left. After taking an 84-83 lead the Rockets hit several free throws to seal the game.
