Mt. Union Coasts to victory over Heidelberg 41-3

The Purple Raiders of Mt. Union #2 ranked in Division 3 jumped out to a 20-0 1st quarter lead over their hosts Heidelberg and never looked back. Mt. Union running back DeAndre Parker led the charge to victory with 143 total yards (91 rushing & 52 receiving) and two touchdowns. Senior quarterback Braxton Plunk threw for 168 yards and ran for a 14 yard score. The defense were the stars of the day Holding the Student Princes to 106 total yards and recording 7 sacks. One of the few bright spots for Heidelberg was receiver Oliver Kelleher who hauled in 2 passes for 68 yards and Brandon Steckel with a 48-yard field goal. Mt. Union improves to 5-0 (4-0 OAC) while Heidelberg drops to 3-2 (2-2 OAC).
