Oilers notch a homecoming victory

The Findlay Oilers defeated the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers 27-21 led by Alec Bornhorst a 6-5 225lb senior. Bornhorst was a dual threat on the day passing for 178yds while adding 126yds and a score on the ground. Makya Mathews also provided a spark rushing for 83yds on 13 carries including a 30yd jaunt. The Panthers quarterback Christian Arrambide threw for 299yd and two touchdowns. Kam Sherrard led them in receiving with 120yds and catching both scoring tosses. Findlay improves to 4-1 overall and 3-0 in conference while Kentucky Wesleyan falls t0 3-2 and 2-1 in Great Midwest Conference action.
