Rocket Men fall at Kent State 105-65

The Toledo men’s basketball team travel east to face the Kent State Golden Flashes in MAC action. Kent State came out hot taking a 24-point lead into the half 54-30. The flashes had five players score in double figures against the Rockets with VonCameron Davis and Jamal Sumlin tallying 21 & 20 points apiece. The Rockets were led by Sam Lewis’ 17 points. With the win both teams are tied for third place in the MAC standings at 9-6. This was Toledo’s fourth loss in five games, they drop to 16-12 overall. While Kent State is surging at the right time winning four or their last five games and they improve to 19-9 on the season.
