The Oilers Pummel The panthers 24-3

The University of Findlay Oilers defended their home turf against the Panthers of Ohio Dominican and came out victorious. Using a strong defensive effort the oilers stifled the panthers holding them to 82 total yards. The defense was led by Johnny Harris’s 8 tackles and Gavin Degroat’s 5 tackles & a sack. Jordan Grimes also added an interception and leads the league with 5 interceptions for 137 yards.

Offensively the Oilers were led by Brian Benson’s 69yds rushing and quarterback Alec Bornhorst’s 215 total yards (40 rushing and 175yds passing) with 2 touchdowns through the air. Ohio Dominican was led by quarterback Jake Byrd’s 56 yards passing and Brady Blattner’s 14 tackles. The Panthers had their 3-game win streak stopped and fall to 4-5 overall (3-4 GMAC) while Findlay improves to 7-2 overall (6-1 GMAC).
