WBIT Preview Toledo at Washington State

In today’s tilt, the University of Toledo Rockets Women's Basketball team travel to face the Washington State Cougars in the quarterfinals in the Women’s Basketball Invitational Tournament (WBIT). The Rockets ( the MAC regular season champs) arrive to this quarter final after wins against Cleveland State and St. Johns at home. The Cougars are entering the contest having defeated Santa Clara in their last matchup. The winner advances to the semifinal in Indianapolis on April 1. Toledo rallied back from a 13 point second half deficit against St. Johns at Savage Arena with the score being 72-71.The Rockets are led by Quinesha Lockett who averages 15.8 points per game and 6.2 rebounds per game. Washington State is coming into this game after an  impressive win versus Santa Clara with the score being 73-47. Leading the way for Washington State this season is Charlisse Leger-Walker, who is averaging 13.2 points per game and 5.1 assists per game.
