Dragons finish undefeated and G-mac Champs

The Tiffin Dragons travelled to rival Findlay’s Donnell Stadium undefeated and chasing the Great Midwest Conference championship. Tiffin rolled to a 26-7 win capturing the league title and solidifying its hold on a division 2 playoff spot. This is the Dragons 1st undefeated regular season in school history. Leading the way for the victors was Devin Nelson with 15 carries for 124 yds which included an 88yd jaunt. Carson Gresock added 71yds and 3 short touchdown runs. Defensively Caleb Streat scored on a 20yd interception return to help with the defense’s dominance.

The Oilers of Findlay were stymied the majority of the game before quarterback Alec Bornhorst scored from around a yard out late in the game. Bornhorst passed for 188yds and 2 interceptions, he was sacked multiple times on the day. Junior tailback Garrett Clark added 65yds on the ground for Findlay. The Oilers finished their season with 7-4 (6-3 GMAC), while Tiffin is 11-0 (9-0 GMAC). Tiffin now awaits the NCAA playoff selections on 11/12.
