Eagles erase 10-point deficit to defeat Bulls

Led by a quintet of double digit scores the Eastern Michigan Eagles soared to a 90-77 victory over the Buffalo Bulls. The first half of the contest was an offensive feast as the lead seesawed back and forth with a total of 12 3-pointers made. Buffalo went 8-14 from behind the arch in the half to offset EMU’s initial hot shooting to take a 45-42 lead into the half. With guard Ryan Sabol (25 pts) leading the way Buffalo extended its halftime lead to 57-47 before the Eagles stormed back tying the game at 62. Led by Jalin Billingsley and Da’Sean Nelson (18 & 17 points respectively) the Eagles dominated in the post and were able to make two decisive runs to finish the game going away winning by 13. This was the third consecutive victory for Eastern Michigan in MAC play moving them to 4-3 in conference and 10-9 overall. Buffalo drops to 1-6 in the MAC and 6-13 on the season.
